    Tissue Paper Dying

    taught by Kathy Klompas

Class Location: CREATE Community Studios, 70B Beekman St, Saratoga Springs, NY

Let your creativity flow!  Paint freely with dyes , using brushes, squeeze bottles, or folding techniques , on to large sheets of tissue paper.  Allow the magic to happen as the dye flows, leading us to achieve wondrous patterns that mimic nature.   Choose a favorite for a sketchbook cover, instruction and materials provided. Use your papers for unique gift wrapping, hang them in a window to glow with sunlight, or incorporate them into your art making practice.  This class will settle your energy and allow for intuitive, colorful art-making.
