Simple Paper Lantern making

Come create your own lanterns to brighten the long winter nights! We'll use markers to draw images inspired by stories related to the seasonal shift that begins at the mid-point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, or perhaps inspired by your own creative imaginings. We'll rub oil into the paper to add translucency to the image, and then shape the paper into boxes and cylinders; we will make one of each. Finally we'll add small electric candles and handles to the containers to finish our lantern.
No experience necessary; all experience levels welcome.
All supplies for this class will be provided.
