Artist Statement 

At night, I often dream in black and white.                                                     

Monochrome scenes of winged statues, snowy pastures, empty churches, and cobblestone streets illuminate my subconscious.                                                  

Through painting and photography, I explore the images that I see subconsciously and consciously, while sleeping and awake.

Julia Abbott is a multimedia artist based in Upstate New York. She studied painting and photography at the Rhode Island School of Design where she graduated from in 2022.
