Artist Statement

My name is Jimmy Nadeau and photography is an art that makes everyone think outside the box. I see art in all my surroundings. My whole life I enjoyed photographing my friends and Family, little did I know it was going to consume my whole life. Photography is a click of any camera I can get my hands on to get the perfect photo. I chase every opportunity that I can to make all of my photos tell different stories. I went through a rough time with depression and grief, but photography saved me and muted my thoughts and negative feelings. My photos all tell a story about different thoughts I had going through my head. Better thoughts eventually came along with each day, and I developed a better mindset and goals along the way. I will always have photography and continue to chase each opportunity that I come across to create a photo with a million people’s perspectives. That is what art is to me.
