Artist Statement
The photographs that you are viewing were shot and created this winter in January and February 2025. The camera that I used is a Nikon 2020 with a 50mm normal lens. Lighting consisted of dim room light and a Nikon speed light. The film in use was Portra 400 ISO Color. Technical information also includes the fact that the flash was set to ΒΌ power distance from Zoe, was 12 feet. Standard C41 Color Processing was used without push/pull. We used an indoor location with white walls and did the series in this one room. It took 10 minutes to shoot 36 pictures. These are the 10 that I worked up. Little or no color correction was used in Photoshop. I print and frame all my own work. Hope you like the pictures!
