Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of optimism and attention. Through making art, I seek to highlight the simple, often overlooked beauty that exists in everyday life. I am drawn to quiet moments, subtle details, and the small visual experiences that invite reflection rather than urgency.

Creating art is a source of genuine joy for me and a way of celebrating life as it unfolds. I approach my practice as a kind of personal ministry of optimism—an act of noticing, appreciating, and honoring what is already present. The work is not meant to instruct or overwhelm, but to offer a pause and a moment of calm recognition.

By sharing my work, I hope to extend that sense of joy and perspective to others. I want viewers to leave with a renewed awareness of the beauty around them and an appreciation for the ordinary moments that so often go unseen
