Beginner Weaving with Open Studio

Jan DeMeo has been weaving for nine years and is excited to introduce absolute beginners* to the art of weaving. In this class, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the entire weaving process: from planning and winding the warp to dressing the loom and exploring various weave structures. Along the way, you’ll receive plenty of guidance and support, and by the end of the class, you’ll have a beautiful scarf or table runner to take home.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn!
Please bring a good pair of scissors with you to class.
The weaving studio will be open for extra weaving time daily. Door security access will be given to students prior to the starting of class.
