Introduction to Linocut

Learn the basics of linoleum printing or "block printing". You will learn how to translate a drawing onto a block, how to carve, and print using the press! We'll make two blocks in this class. Beginning with a single color block that is 5 x 7 inches, then we will move on to a larger size block 9 x 12 inches.
No experience necessary! All levels are welcome.
All materials and tools will be provided for the class.
After taking a printmaking class, you have the opportunity to sign up for open studio time to work on your own projects!
