Introduction to Linocut

Learn the basics of linoleum printing or "block printing". You will learn how to translate a drawing onto a block, how to carve, and print using the press! We'll make two blocks in this class. Beginning with a single color block that is 5 x 7 inches, then we will move on to a larger size block 9 x 12 inches. For the duration of your class, you will have access to the studio outside of class time to continue working on your project.
No experience necessary! All levels are welcome.
All materials and tools will be provided for the class.
After taking a printmaking class, you have the opportunity to sign up for open studio time to work on your own projects!
