Zine Making 101: An Art Form for Resistance will take participants through the history of how Zines - short form, independently published booklets - came into existence, and the role they continue to play in our world today. We will explore the different types of zines, from poetry to informational to collage, and begin a practice of making our own zines. Throughout this process, the class will merge individual and collaborative art making, culminating in a zine fair as the class comes to a close.
