Grants available through Saratoga Arts
Saratoga Arts administers two grant programs for artists and arts organizations with funding from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). The Saratoga Program for Arts Funding (SPAF) supports community arts programming by artists and arts organizations in Saratoga County. The Arts-in-Education Local Capacity Building (AIE/LCB) Program supports curriculum-based artist residencies in schools throughout Saratoga and Washington counties.
Congratulations 2010 Grant Award Winners
Saratoga Arts awarded:
16 SPAF Project Grants totaling $34,010: 15 organizations, 5 sponsoring artist-driven projects
2 SPAF Artist Grants totaling $5,000: 2 Music Artists from Saratoga County were granted funding for the creation of new work in 2010.
and 9 Arts-in-Education Grants totaling $13,650
for Artists and Arts and Cultural Programming in Saratoga County Communities.
SPAF-funded arts events will take place in Ballston Spa, Burnt Hills, Clifton Park, Corinth, Greenfield, Mechanicville, Moreau, Round Lake, Saratoga Springs, South Glens Falls and Wilton. Programs for all ages were funded in Fiber Art, Film, Graphic Arts, History, Music, Literature, Sculpture, Storytelling Theatre and the Visual Arts.
